Vertrauenspersonen

On the ZaPF (Zusammenkunft aller deutschsprachigen Physik-Fachschaften, meeting of all physics student councils in German speaking countries), the idea came up to train confidants to offer an accessible place to go if you have problems of any kind. Every physics student can approach the confidants. There are other info and help centres on campus but our confidants offer another independent and trustworthy alternative without long waiting times or bureaucratic hurdles.

Our confidants will listen to you and support you with your problems. They will further accompany you to the fitting help centres. You can trust them with psychological burdens and personal crises, with domestic problems and existential needs, if you are discriminated against, if you are a victim of violence, or if you struggle with accessibilty.

Even if you are not sure if you need help, the confidants will have an open ear for you and your issues.
